Biography

Luca Rossetti is an Italian pianist, composer, and educator who has been active for over thirty years in the fields of classical and contemporary music, as well as in composition for piano and chamber ensembles. Holding a diploma in Piano and a Second-Level Academic Diploma, he has combined his concert career with extensive work in teaching, artistic direction, and the promotion of musical culture. Throughout his career, he has performed in numerous concert series and at prestigious cultural institutions, collaborating with prominent performers and musicians. He has conceived and organized national and international piano competitions, serving as Artistic Director, Jury President, and jury member. Notable figures involved in the events he has promoted include Maestro Ennio Morricone (Honorary President) and Maestros Roberto Cappello and Carlo Grante (members of the artistic committee). As a composer, he has created original works for piano and chamber music characterized by an expressive style that blends lyricism, elegance, and cinematic qualities. His compositions have won awards and accolades in national and international competitions. His works are released by the record label PLAY & Oracle Records LTD—with international distribution—and performed by artists such as James Ross, Chiara Ascenzo, Francesca Lovotti, and Radosław Srodoń. He is the author of the educational book *Alla scoperta del pianoforte* (Discovering the Piano), published by Edizioni Sinfonica and distributed by Carisch. His artistic work has been featured in national newspapers, specialized magazines, online publications, and radio broadcasts, helping to bring his music to audiences in Italy and abroad.
